Mission Statement (Oct 2024)

It is the mission of the Conservation Lands Advisory Committee to provide recommendations, strategies, and supporting documentation to the City on oversight and stewardship of conservation lands within the City boundaries.

 

The Resolution and Mission Statement targeted four primary areas of concern:

  • Gustavus Conservation Lands Maps and Inventory
  • Full protection for the Nature Conservancy lands TNC Gustavus Forelands
  • Protection for the Golf Course area (renamed Gustavus Beach Meadows)
  • The Dude Creek Critical Habitat Area (DCCHA)
