Alaska Standing Up invites you to join local author/activist Kim Heacox for an adult-level 2-part class on improving your odds of getting published in regional and national newspapers with large readerships: "Words Matter: How to Write Effective Opinions and Letters to Editors"

Part A: February 16, 7pm-8:00pm (instructional handouts will be available)

Part B: February 23, 7pm-8:30pm (with an opportunity to share what you've written and make improvements)
